About This Project

Role: Lead Developer — Programming, Backend Integration, Optimization, Publishing

Electric Car Simulator is a mobile open-world driving game published on Android, featuring a full suite of backend services and a monetization stack built for scale.

Gameplay Systems

Developed all core gameplay systems in C# including a dynamic weather system, a delivery mission framework, police chase logic, and speed trap mechanics — all built with reusability and maintainability in mind.

Backend & Services Integration

- Firebase Analytics — Integrated for event tracking and player behavior analysis. - Google Play Games Services — Implemented cloud save (cross-device progression) and achievements. - Unity LevelPlay (IronSource) — Current ad mediation network, replacing previous integrations with AdMob and Unity Ads. The ad pipeline includes load/show failure fallbacks and retry logic to maximize fill rate.

Remote Ad Reward Configuration

Reward values for all rewarded ad placements are configured remotely via the LevelPlay dashboard — no game update required to adjust economy values. This live ops capability allows reward balancing independent of the release cycle.

Monetization

Integrated Unity IAP with localized pricing across supported regions and a subscription-based monetization model, handling purchase validation and entitlement management.

Performance Optimization

Profiled and optimized scripts, draw calls, and memory usage specifically for mobile hardware, achieving stable 60+ FPS performance across mid-range Android devices.

Collaboration

Collaborated with a dedicated level designer on the open-world map, using Unity Version Control (formerly Plastic SCM) to manage concurrent work across the shared project.

Texture & Asset Pipeline

Created dashboard UI textures and variants in Photoshop, including emission maps for nighttime visuals. Baked Ambient Occlusion maps in Blender for vehicle models to improve visual quality without runtime cost.

Live Ops

Game is actively maintained and updated post-launch.
